Managing this home is a family affair. Our kids wanted to share their favorites with other kids or just the young at heart. We hope your family enjoys tackling this list. Write us back and share your family's favorite thing and any we should add to the list.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

I've been going to Jekyll for 9 years and it is very fun. This is a list of fun stuff to do.

  1. Mini Golf

  2. Go out for ice cream or frozen yogurt. A few of our favorites - DQ, fuse frozen yogurt and Jekyll Island Market in the Beach Village,

  3. Summer Waves Water Park (summer)

  4. Ice Skating (winter)

  5. Exploring the Jekyll Island Hotel.

  6. Going on a horse drawn carriage ride in the historic district

  7. Riding bikes everywhere

  8. Playing on the beach

  9. Flying a kite

  10. Jumping or using a boogie board in the waves

  11. Walking the sand bar at low tide

  12. Learning about sea turtles at the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. We've never been there when they've released a turtle back into the sea but we've heard it's great.

  13. Dolphin Tours from the harbor

  14. Watching cargo freighters from the pier

  15. Collecting sea shells

  16. Seeing the Easter Bunny and finding eggs in the egg hunt (Easter Saturday).

  17. Shrimp and Dolphin Boat Ride on Lady Jane in Brunswick (Trip Advisor for Lady Jane) - (note from Mom to other parents - this is incredible. We've done it twice with kids ages 5-11. Book in advance. You will not regret it. Then enjoy dinner on the dock with live music.)

  18. Feeding live alligators at the Copper Pig

  19. The park and the whale climbing sculpture on St.Simons Island - right by the pier in their downtown area

  20. Seeing Wild Horses on Cumberland Island
